For ChatGPT, Claude, Grok & T3 Chat

Slice documents.
Feed them to AI.

FeedDoc is a Chrome extension that cuts a PDF, PPTX or DOCX down to just the pages you need and attaches the smaller file straight to your AI chat. Sliced locally, in your browser.

Works with

Built into the AI chats
you already use.

No new app, no download-and-reupload dance. FeedDoc detects which chat you’re on and its “Feed” button attaches the sliced file straight to that chat — so you keep your model, your history and your workflow.

How it works

From a 140-page file to a focused answer.

What drove the margin increase this quarter?

From the attached pages, three things:

  1. Freight costs fell 18% (p. 39).
  2. Pro-tier pricing rose 6% (p. 40).
  3. Services grew to 34% of revenue (p. 41).

Ask anything
  1. 01 / Open

Open the side panel next to your chat.

Click the FeedDoc icon on ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or T3 Chat. The panel opens beside the conversation — drop in a PDF, PPTX or DOCX.

  2. 02 / Slice

    Pick the pages you need.

Set a page or slide range — say 38 to 42 of a 140-page report. Add up to ten named segments; overlapping ranges are flagged before you slice.

  3. 03 / Feed

Attach the smaller file to the chat.

FeedDoc builds a new file with only those pages, in the same format, and attaches it to the message box in one click. Or download it.

  4. 04 / Ask

    Ask about exactly what’s attached.

The model gets a 5-page file instead of 140 pages, so its answer stays on the part you actually care about.

Why slice

Attach the pages that matter.
Not the whole file.

Full documents carry cover pages, appendices and sections that have nothing to do with your question. A focused attachment is smaller, uploads faster and keeps the model on topic.

Example · a 140-page annual report
Whole file140 pages · 18.4 MB
FeedDoc segmentpages 38–42 · 612 KB
.pdf → .pdf

Exact page ranges, copied page-for-page into a new PDF — scanned pages, tables and images included.

.pptx → .pptx

Keeps only the slides you pick and rewrites the deck, so the output is a real PowerPoint file.

.docx → .docx

Splits on the document’s page breaks, so ranges are estimated. Output is a smaller Word file.

  • Up to 10 segmentsSlice several named ranges from one file in a single pass. Overlaps are caught before you slice.
  • Feed one or allAttach a single segment or every segment to the chat — or download them instead.
  • Big files welcomeHandles documents up to 512 MB, with a heads-up on anything over 100 MB.

Sliced on your machine.

FeedDoc reads your file inside the extension’s side panel and cuts it there, in your browser. A segment only leaves your machine when you feed it to a chat, download it, or choose to save it to your optional cloud library.

FAQ

Good questions.

Does it paste text, or attach a file?

It attaches a file. Each segment is a real PDF, PPTX or DOCX containing only the pages you picked, so the AI sees the original layout, tables and images.

Which AI chats does it work with?

ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and T3 Chat. FeedDoc detects which one you’re on and its Feed button attaches the segment there. On any other site you can still slice and download.

Does my document get uploaded anywhere?

Slicing happens in your browser. A segment only leaves your machine when you feed it to a chat, download it, or save it to the optional cloud library — which you set up yourself.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes. FeedDoc copies whole pages rather than extracting text, so scanned and image-heavy PDFs slice just fine.

Why are Word page numbers approximate?

Word files don’t store fixed pages, so FeedDoc estimates them from the page-break markers in the document. Double-check the range before you slice.

Is FeedDoc free?

Yes — free and open source under the MIT licence. If it saves you time, you can buy the developer a coffee.

Slice. Feed. Ask.
